An Annual Holiday Tradition

Our FREE Christmas Dinner starts at 2 pm, Christmas day at Panini’s.

Our local community and neighbors in Beaufort, South Carolina take care of each other and especially this holiday season in downtown Beaufort. Panini’s on the Waterfront and Hemingway’s Bistro will be hosting a free Orphans & Strays Christmas Dinner all afternoon on Christmas day.

Christmas Dinner Location

Dinner is usually held at Hemingway’s, but with the extreme cold weather this year, we will have dinner inside at Panini’s on the Waterfront. Guests are welcome to stay and dine inside of Panini’s, or enjoy their meals back over at Hemingway’s. There will be no servers or bar service at Panini’s, just food and seating. Bar service will be available at Hemingway’s.

What’s on the Menu?

The annual Orphans & Strays free Christmas Dinner is a potluck dinner where the folks who have been coming regularly year after year bring a side dish, with both Panini’s and Hemingway’s donating time and money in preparing the main entrées including turkey, ham, mac & cheese, salad, and more. While it is not necessary to bring anything, the food is free to all and you can meet some new friends. While the free dinner is available to everyone starting around 2 pm, the full bar will be available until 1:30 am.

We greatly appreciate all of our regular patrons who have returned over the past 10 years to Panini’s to celebrate with family and enjoy Christmas Dinner with us. It’s going to be a cold Christmas day this year in Beaufort, so we may not see as many as we usually see, but we’ll be here for anyone that wants to stop by for some Christmas cheer.
